Sports betting picks, tested against divination.
co-fo.ai runs a rules engine on the NFL, NCAAF, MLB, NBA, NHL, WNBA and European soccer. The server timestamps every pick before kickoff and grades it on the final score. Every game also gets three divination readings, graded the same way, to show what betting with no information looks like.

Why a divination control?
Win rate alone says little. At -110 odds, a bettor picking at random wins 55% or more of 300 bets about one time in twenty. A rule means something only if it clearly beats picks made with no information, on the same games.
Our no-information picks come from two traditional Chinese methods and one Western one. Each is cast once per game before kickoff and never recast:
- Liu Yao (六爻): a six-line I Ching hexagram, reading the world line as the home team and the response line as the away team.
- Xiao Liu Ren (小六壬): five random numbers, read three ways (Xiao Liu Ren, Plum Blossom, Jin Kou Jue) into one answer to whether the home team wins.
- Tarot: three cards from the full 78-card deck, one for the home side, one for the away side and one for the outcome, each upright or reversed.
Each reading's side is graded on the moneyline (in soccer a reading can also call the draw) and again against the spread where one is posted. A reading that favours neither side gives no pick.
Over 1,288 moneyline picks since 2026-09-15, Liu Yao hexagrams went 573–703, a -2.8% return at one flat stake per pick.

How a pick is recorded
- Each rule posts only inside a fixed window before kickoff. No human picks or tips.
- The server writes the posting time, side and odds when the pick is made. Nothing is edited afterwards.
- Picks are graded on the final score at one flat stake each. A spread or total that lands on the line is a push.
